That's my question for the day...
Are some people really as clueless and insensitive as I've experienced them to be over the last 2 days? I had the joy of discovering that my job has been filled through the gossip grapevine and then the person who's taking my job had the nerve to email me and say she's really excited to be working at Hale. REALLY?
I just keep reminding myself that this is an opportunity to choose the higher road and find a job that I can find joy in each and every day...because otherwise I get bogged down in the incomprehension of how clueless some people can be.

On a totally separate subject, I had the great joy of spending this past weekend with a few great friends in Winthrop. While there I discovered something pretty sad...I get motion sick on swings. There was a great wooden swing tied to the trees in the hotel we stayed in, but I felt really sick afterwards. So, here is documentation of what might be my last thrill of having the wind whip through my hair from swinging up into the trees!
There is medication that eases motion sickness so you can continue the thrill of having the wind whip through your hair as you swing up into the trees:) In college, whenever I was bummed, I would swing for hours and work things out. It was so relaxing for me. Also, it was a great place to meet women! I never paid attention to the male swingers, but maybe with the right dose of Dramamine you can find a trophy husband:) By the way, that's a great pic of you!
