What I Do When it's Windy & Rainy

The rain & wind are here in big ways. I'm supposed to be heading out on a 5 mile run in order to keep up with my training plan...instead I woke up not feeling the best and decided to stay indoors and finish the project that was begun yesterday with Melissa on a delightful day in Bremerton! Yesterday started with a trip to a funky vintage store where we channelled our inner Farah (or Carol Brady?) & Tina's. We were then inspired by the memory of the cute clips we saw awhile ago at my favorite Ballard boutique and decided we were capable of recreating them!

This morning I added the clips to the flowers and played with some feathers I bought recently. I'm quite excited by they how they turned out...the whole project didn't cost more than $15 for everything and if I do say so myself, they don't look that different from what you can buy for way more than that in several stores around town. Sometimes windy, rainy days inside aren't so bad!
