Repurposing

During this season of giving, I often become convicted of how much I have.
My closet (one of my admitted weaknesses) is chalk full of way too much. After returning from Beyond I did a deep clean and gave away a lot...except for winter things. Who wants winter sweaters in early September? So with my recent re-conviction, I realized that now is a perfect time to do a deep clean of my winter-wear. As I pulled sweaters off the shelf last night I came across one that I haven't worn in years. It definitely fit the bill of "if I haven't worn it in a year it's gone." Yet, I couldn't keep myself from going back to it not wanting to get rid of it. The color is just too beautiful, even if the style is way out-dated. Then it hit me, my brilliant idea!...I knit. I have hoards of yarn all over my house, but nothing in this color. So I've decided to embark on a repurposing experiment and try to reuse the yarn from this sweater to make something else. I'm currently on the hunt for my inspiration. I found these three which I'm mulling over as I continue to search...
